妖怪村 - Monster Village

¡Hello!

This January, I visited the Monster Village. This place will make you think in japanese movies, everything is decorated with the "monsters". Inside this village you can find many kind of food, like sesame ice cream and also souvenirs. Personally, I didnt bougth anything special, but I think is a nice place to get some souvenirs. 

I think if you visit Xitou Forest, it's a must to come and step by this place, is a nice idea to go after and take a break, taking picture with monsters and eating some stuffs. When I was leaving I saw some people with "scary" costumes walking around and taking pictures with the visitors. Anyways, I really liked this place, sadly my camera ran out of battery and I had to use my phone to take the pictures.... >_<)/

En enero, visité el Monster Village. Un lugar que te hará pensar en las películas y en la tradición japonesa, cada esquina está decorada con estos monstruos. Dentro de la aldea puede encontrarse mucha variedad de comida y restaurantes, además de souvenirs muy divertidos. Personalmente, no compré nada especial, pero creo que es un buen lugar para comprar regalos  y recuerdos. 

Si visitas el bosque de Xitou, no debes dejar de visitar el Monster Village, es una buena idea ya que puedes tomarte un descanso, sacar fotografías y comer. Justo cuando decidí marcharme algunas personas con disfraces de "miedo" estaban paseando al rededor sacándose fotos con los visitantes. Este lugar es muy divertido y único, es una pena que se me haya agotado la batería de la cámara y tuviera que usar el móvil para sacar fotos....

Cuando llegué a Taiwán no me imaginaba la cantidad de ilustradores que existen en este País, muchos rincones están decorados con cosas monas, cosa que me encanta para qué mentir. Hoy quiero presentarles a mi personaje favorito, los que me conocen saben que soy fan de Rilakkuma, y creo que este personaje me gusta tanto como ese gandul osito. En este caso, un conejito blandito  llamado ㄇㄚˊ幾 maji o Machiko se ha ganado un lugar importante para mí, de hecho cada vez que voy de compras y veo algo de él o ella,siempre acabo comprando....

When I arrived to Taiwan, I would never imagine how many nice illustrators are in this country, you can even find many corners decorated by them, something that I truthly love. Today, I want introduce to you my favourite chracter, my close friends knows how much I love Rilakkuma, and I think I love this one as much as I love that lazy bear. In this case, a little soft bunny called ㄇㄚˊ幾 maji o Machiko have an important place to me, in fact everytime I go shopping and I find some items from him or her, I always end up buying something..

Where I have been all this time?

Hello, Hello!

Lately, I haven't sent any letter... My life had a lot of changes, I moved, changed of school and burocracy will make me crazy. Well, the important thing is that I'm back and I'm completly fine, haha. In the future, I will share with you some pictures of my flat, maybe you are courious about how does a flat looks like in Taiwan 

For today, I want to share my experience in a wonderful place I visited with my chinese school. I really enjoyed the clean air and the beautiful landscape. I also had the opportunity to take a walk among trees and nature. I visited two places that day, but today I want to share my experience in the Xitou Forest (溪頭自然教育園區-Xitou Nature Educational Area).

I recommend that if you visit this place, you must bring energy for a long walk around, and also some snacks (or just buy them in the convenience store that is placed just in the entrance). Those days in Taiwan, weather was getting really cold, as I heard we were hitten by a cold wage, so it have been extreamly cold, that was terrible for me because I only bring really summery clothes to Taiwan -.-''

Well, Xitou forest is not nice to enjoy the landscape, also have many games and activities, so i recommend to go there, as I do for almost every place I visited here. But this one, I will specially recommed for those people who come live here and want to clean their lumbs with fresh air..

Taichung Rainbow Village 彩虹眷村

Last summer, I visited a popular place in Taichung called Rainbow Village. This place have been all decorated by the same person, a veteran who decided to make more colorful the place where he's living. This is a small spot that you can visit in 15min or less, but even if it's hard to find the way to come here, I think this place is unique and special so it really worth to visit the village (and it's a nice place to take pictures （・◇・）/)

I like the fact that everything is decorated with various and colorfuls desings. 

Inside the village you can buy some drinks, ice creams and some postcards and souvenirs

Taichung Port 台中港

Sometime ago I had the opportunity to visit Taichung Port with my chinese school. The most interesting part about Taichung Port to me it's that you can buy fresh fish, for really good prices, and even ask restaurants inside to cook that fish for you. I have to admitd that i'm not really a fish lover i always prefer a piece of meat but this place was really great and the fish (even for me) was really  tasty.

The port itself, it's not really special, a few boats, the sea and just that, but what makes it special it's the market inside and outside the port. It's colorful, noisy and filled with different kind of food that you can enjoy.

Outside the port you can find a park filled with a lot of fishes sculptures and a boat!

Lavander Cottage 薰衣草森林

Some time ago, a good friend who always discovered me amazing places(and food), took us to this wonderful corner in the mountains of Taiwan.This place was build by two girls who decided to leave city live and ended up creating this wonderful and romantic place where you can enjoy and relax yourself. 

Until now, i have to say that it's one of my favourite places on this country. The only bad thing it's that you need to go by car because it's a little bit far, but taxis are not so expensive here, so i highly recommend to visit it (^_^)/
