Hi

This month i did a quick travel to Japan, althought this is my 4th time in Tokyo and i really didnt visit many places (because i'm poor)  i had the opportunity to meet an special friend and visit Cinamon Roll Cafe. It was fun, since we could visit it on monday line wasn't so long so we could enjoy a quiet meal souronded by a cute ambiance. My pictures are not the best because my camera ran out of battery, so i'm sorry about that.

Cinamon Roll Cafe is now in Shibuya Parco until the end of december, if im not wrong, it was a fun experience, so i recommend you to visit it!

Taichung Rainbow Village 彩虹眷村

Last summer, I visited a popular place in Taichung called Rainbow Village. This place have been all decorated by the same person, a veteran who decided to make more colorful the place where he's living. This is a small spot that you can visit in 15min or less, but even if it's hard to find the way to come here, I think this place is unique and special so it really worth to visit the village (and it's a nice place to take pictures (・◇・)/)

If you are interested in having more information about how to arrive here and also about the history of this place click here.

I like the fact that everything is decorated with various and colorfuls desings.

Inside the village you can buy some drinks, ice creams and some postcards and souvenirs

Taichung Port 台中港

Sometime ago I had the opportunity to visit Taichung Port with my chinese school. The most interesting part about Taichung Port to me it's that you can buy fresh fish, for really good prices, and even ask restaurants inside to cook that fish for you. I have to admitd that i'm not really a fish lover i always prefer a piece of meat but this place was really great and the fish (even for me) was really  tasty.

The port itself, it's not really special, a few boats, the sea and just that, but what makes it special it's the market inside and outside the port. It's colorful, noisy and filled with different kind of food that you can enjoy.

Outside the port you can find a park filled with a lot of fishes sculptures and a boat!

Lavander Cottage 薰衣草森林

Some time ago, a good friend who always discovered me amazing places(and food), took us to this wonderful corner in the mountains of Taiwan. This place was build by two girls who decided to leave city live and ended up creating this wonderful and romantic place where you can enjoy and relax yourself.

Until now, i have to say that it's one of my favourite places on this country. The only bad thing it's that you need to go by car because it's a little bit far, but taxis are not so expensive here, so i highly recommend to visit it (^_^)/

I fell in love of this character!

How is that I'm living here?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I arrived to Taiwan on July, I came here because i got the oppotunity to an intership as spanish teacher at Providence Univeristy. I have been studying chinese for a while and i like Asia so much, so i couldn't reject this opportunity.

My class

My experience as Spanish teacher was so great, at the beginning it was really tiring but at the end I liked it, I have to say I'm a really shy person, so at first talk to so much people was a big challange to me haha, but I may say that now i think i feel less shy and i can keep a conversation with a bunch of people without freeking out ;).

When my intership came to the end, I decided to stay here longer time studying chinese at the same university chinese center, i really like learning chinese in here, but ¿What are the reasons i decided to stay here?:

1. PEOPLE, as others foreigners living here say, PEOPLE IS TAIWAN IS THE NICER IN THE WORLD.
2. FOOD, if you are planning to come here  you will get some weight!

3. A LOT OF CUTE STUFFS, I love japanese cute characters and things in general, this country is filled with them.
4. PRICES. Everything is extreamly cheap comparing to Spain.
5. CITY LIFE. Even if Taichung is not big as Taipei it still has a lot of things to do and i like to walk around big buldings and endeless (pricy) shopping malls.
